Western Meadows Glamping offers a unique holiday experience perfect for families or romantic getaways, where you can camp beneath the stars while enjoying a little bit of luxury. Our safari tents are nestled in a meadow, next to the Kensey River, and surrounded by serene woodlands and farms, giving you the space you need to relax and unwind, with only the sound of nature.
We understand the importance of spending quality time as a family and pride ourselves on offering a very special holiday experience. With only 3 tents available to book at a time you can be assured that you have space and privacy to enjoy yourself away from the crowds. Our tents sleep a maximum of six people, and each has a covered private veranda that looks out over the meadow complete with it’s own gas barbecue to enjoy al fresco cooking. You have your very own private wood burning hot tub. Just imagine soaking in the hot tub looking at the star lit sky (wood is supplied free each day).
Family friendly glamping At the bottom of our meadow, there is an adventure play area made up of a large trampoline, swings and climbing frame and a living willow dome to let the children’s imagination run wild. A perfect space to enjoy themselves. We have a communal fire pit area with a tri pod if you want to BBQ and comes with benches to relax with your family or meet other glampers in the evening in a perfect position by the river.
An information pack in your tent outlines activities to do and where the dog friendly beaches are.
Dog friendly Dogs are very welcome and there is plenty of space for them to explore. To keep our beautiful glamping site safe and clean we ask that you keep your dog on a lead when outside in the meadow. There is a handy dog poop composter, just look for the sign and we recommend poo bags made of corn starch. Each tent has an outside tap so you can wash any muddy or sandy paws.
