Our Safari Tents

We have furnished our safari tents to the same high standard, but each interior has been painted in a different colour

A welcome pack is provided with freshly made scones, clotted cream, jam, butter, tea, coffee and sugar.

All safari tents come with a barbecue area on a covered veranda with – and here’s the real treat – private wood-burning hot tub for you to enjoy after a day of adventures.

Each tent is powered in parts by mains electricity and the bedroom areas have torches and USB charged lights.  There is hot and cold water in the kitchen and shower room (which has a double-size shower, flush loo and basin) and the mains water is soft and good to drink.

One tub of wood is supplied per day free of charge.  Any extra tubs are chargeable at £10.00.  Kindling for the wood burner, fire pit and hot tub is available for free.

Children’s area is visible from all tents, and has a trampoline, swings and climbing frame for them to play safely on. We have a willow dome with stools to cool in the heat of the day.  The area is complete with a communal firepit and seating area along with supply of wood, nestled down by the river so you can gather round in the evening. Not feeling sociable? Simply retreat back to your own veranda.

Dogs are welcome as well, but must be kept on a lease at all times when on site.  There is a gate on the veranda for their safety.

There is a car park (maximum of two cars per tent) which is on hard-standing slate chippings; pull in facing the river near to the woodshed.  Car park entrance is second on the left.  No cars are permitted at the tents.

We have no reception on site, as we like to meet our guests on arrival.  Please make your way up to the house where you will be met by Margaret and Colin.  Colin will take your luggage up to the tent on his tractor and we will give you a quick introduction about the tents and then leave you to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
